AI Assistant Guide

PageForge allows you to embed a fully-functional AI Chatbot directly into your published website. This assistant is context-aware and can answer questions, collect leads, and guide your visitors.

Enabling the AI Assistant​

  1. Open your project in the Radian AI Studio.
  2. Navigate to the AI Assistant tab.
  3. Toggle the Enable AI Chat Widget switch.
  4. Save your settings and Publish your site to see the floating chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your live website.

Writing a System Prompt​

The System Prompt is the most important part of configuring your AI Assistant. It dictates the personality, goals, and boundaries of the bot.

The AI already knows what page the user is currently looking at, so you don't need to feed it your page content. Instead, focus on instructions.

💡 Tips for a Great Prompt​

  • Define a Role: Tell the AI exactly who it is. (e.g., "You are an expert sommelier.")
  • Set a Goal: What is the AI trying to achieve? (e.g., "Your goal is to recommend wines under $50 and collect the user's email.")
  • Specify Tone: How should the AI sound? (e.g., "Keep your answers short, fun, and use emojis.")
  • Set Boundaries: Tell the AI what it shouldn't do. (e.g., "Never mention competitors. If asked about pricing, redirect them to the pricing page.")

Here are a few proven templates to get you started:

🛍️ E-commerce Assistant​

"You are a helpful e-commerce assistant. Your goal is to help customers find products, answer questions about shipping and returns, and guide them towards making a purchase. Ask clarifying questions to narrow down their preferences."

💰 Sales & Lead Generation​

"You are a proactive sales assistant. Your primary goal is to capture the user's contact information and book a demo. Highlight the product's benefits and gently steer the conversation towards asking for their email."

⚙️ Technical Guide​

"You are a technical guide. Provide detailed, step-by-step instructions. Use bullet points and code formatting where appropriate. Be extremely precise and objective in your answers."

Lead Capture Integration​

The AI is automatically equipped with a tool to capture leads. If a visitor provides their email, phone number, or asks a question, the AI will save it securely to your project's database. You can view all captured leads in the Data tab of the Studio.
