Spreadsheet Use Cases

Here are some of the primary use cases for the Spreadsheet project type:

1. Financial & Accounting Summaries​

  • Use Case: Upload a raw CSV of monthly expenses and ask the AI to categorize them and generate a summary sheet.
  • Result: The AI outputs a multi-sheet document with "Raw Transactions" on Sheet 1, and an aggregated "Monthly Expenses by Category" (with a pie chart) on Sheet 2.

2. Sales & Performance Dashboards​

  • Use Case: Paste a loose list of sales figures or CRM notes.
  • Result: The AI structures the data, applies Currency formatting to revenue columns, and creates a bar chart showing top-performing regions.

3. HR & Roster Management​

  • Use Case: Convert an unstructured document of employee bios into a structured spreadsheet.
  • Result: The AI extracts fields (Name, Role, Start Date), formats the dates correctly, and can pivot the data to show headcount per department upon follow-up request.
